Rhubarb
Down the back of our wild and neglected garden there lies our rhubarb patch. I ventured past the overgrown raspberries and vegetables today to look for strawberries but to my surprise found my rhubarb oh so prolific.
I harvested it and then filled my large gardening bucket with the leaves. Ella helped me wash and cut it all up ready to enjoy.
My two rhubarb favourites are rhubarb crumble and just plain delicious stewed rhubarb. I'll be stacking my freezer now with stewed rhubarb and a bag of chopped pieces ready for the next crumble.
